What can I expect my first day?

New Employees

Typically, new employees

  1. Meet with Human Resources initially to complete various employment forms.  Please complete the Forms below prior to arriving on your first day.
  2. Review Court Policies and Procedures.
  3. Are scheduled to meet with the Administrative Judge to take an Oath.
  4. Meet with a member of the Information Technology team to receive account information and gain knowledge on the various electronic systems.
  5. Meet with their supervisor to begin on the job training.

Forms

Complete and bring with you the below forms. Please note HR will complete the Agency Number or Employee Number required on any form.

In conjunction with these forms, please bring your driver’s license and social security card. We will need to complete an I-9 based upon this information. If you do not have one or both documents, please see the following list of acceptable documents:

Previous Public Entity Work Experience

If you have previously worked for a public entity in Ohio, please provide HR a letter of service from that entity. This information helps to establish vacation accrual rates and a current sick leave balance. It is important that the letter include the following information from each public entity:

  • Balance of transferable sick leave hours
  • Dates of employment
  • Full time or part time
