3. How can I update my tax withholding?

Complete and submit the appropriate document to Human Resources:

4. How can I cancel/change my direct deposit?

Direct deposit is required, if you are changing your bank or bank account, simply complete the Direct Deposit Form and submit it to Human Resources.

5. How can begin to deposit to CME or modify my deposits to CME?

Complete the CME Deduction Form and submit to Human Resources.

6. When is open enrollment for benefits?

Typically open enrollment is a two week period during the fall months. Employees can opt in or out of benefit programs, adjust life insurance coverage, and change beneficiaries during open enrollment. Employees that elect to participate in Flexible Spending Account programs must do so each year, otherwise they will be removed from the program.

7. I need to modify my benefits and it is not open enrollment. How can I do that?

You may change your health, life, and disability insurance coverage, and in some cases your Flexible Spending Account, when one or more of the following qualifying life events occur:

• Adoption
• Birth
• Death
• Divorce
• Domestic Partnership declaration
• Loss of other coverage
• Marriage
• Terminating coverage as a result of gaining other coverage
• Termination of Domestic Partnership

8. I am thinking about retiring, what do I need to do?

Contact the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS) at 800-222-7377. After speaking with OPERS you decide to retire, contact Human Resources to plan for your transition.
