Low Risk Supervision

Low-risk offenders may be assigned to low-risk supervision and receive programming and have reporting requirements appropriate for that risk level. Officers utilize the following risk reduction and supervision strategies:

  • Ensure offenders are not exposed to higher risk offenders through treatment programs.
  • Incorporate targeted services and monitoring focused on the highest areas of need only.
  • Monitor offenders with minimal disruption to pro-social protective factors (i.e. employment, education.)
